With the birth of the new console generation upon us, our childhood gaming memories beckon. Certainly, Medal of Honor Frontline was given an HD port to PS3 semi-recently but it was clearly not given the care and attention of a full remaster. Simply look at Youtube videos of playthroughs of the game most comments mention the nostalgia factor but seemingly as many express an interest in a remaster. What better way to do that, than with the ever popular Medal of Honor: European Assault. Merely look at the age range of people playing Pokemon Go there's a large number of people who want to reconnect with their childhood gaming memories. The gaming community is also at a perfect position to capitalize on nostalgia.
Consumers seem more than willing to purchase these newly reskinned games to harness the power of their new consoles, and these are experiences which they had from just the previous console cycle. Many publishers have decided to remaster games from the previous console generation, games such as Tomb Raider, Grand Theft Auto 5, Bioshock, and The Last of Us, to name just a few. While next generation consoles have been adapted with arms open wide, there is still a lack of quality games to hit the market.
