I see in the events, last activity on the day of Windows 10 feature update.Ģ. "Right-click on the device with the yellow exclamation mark and choose properties." -> What after that.? Should I remove/uninstall this device? The general tab has an error. "AMD High Definition Audio Device" could be your video card, "Realtek High Definition Audio" could be your motherboards audio chip, but I'm not sure what the other device would be.Ģ. See if you can identify what the device is. Right click on the device with the yellow exclamation mark and choose properties. You can always reinstall them in the future if you ever need them again.Ģ. If you have no more use for the Steam Streaming Microphone & Speakers, right click and uninstall them, they may be causing a problem. "AMD High Definition Audio Device" could be your video card, "Realtek High Definition Audio" could be your motherboards audio chip, but i'm not sure what the other device would be.ģ.

And disabling them just.disables them, no effect on the other two AMD and Realtek HD Audio device.Ģ. I once allowed my friend to stream the game I was playing. Do you ever use the Steam Streaming Speakers? Try disabling them to see what happens.ġ. What do you see listed under "Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers"?Ģ. You may not be able to get this motherboard to work properly with Window 10.ġ. The support page link below for this motherboard shows it does not support Windows 10, only up to Windows 8.1. In your original post you said the problem started right after a Windows update near the end of May. If we leave the Exclamaition mark device aside, can't we do anything about the Realtek and AMD devices? And what about the error (code 10)?ĭisabling steam speaker and mic leaves the sound icon in the notification area with red cross. Okay, I did this and unfortunately, this solved nothing. Instead of uninstalling Steam Streaming Microphone & Speakers, just Disable them, you can enable them again if Steam is affected. If that does not work, i don't know what to do because i still don't know what the device is. Windows should reinstall the device once again. If that does not work then choose Uninstall and reboot. First right-click on the device with the yellow exclamation mark and choose Update Driver Software and let Windows do it automatically.
